COLON HYDROTHERAPY (CLOSED-SYSTEM)

The intestines are a very important organ in the body, serving as a crucial frontline defense. Consuming poor-quality food, allergenic foods, or various toxins can cause the intestines to malfunction and disrupt the balance of gut bacteria. This imbalance can lead to various symptoms such as bloating, indigestion, unusual fatigue, unexplained itching rashes, chronic acne, depression, and may even contribute to autoimmune diseases or colon cancer.

Even daily bowel movements cannot guarantee that no toxins remain in the intestines. Colon cleansing helps remove residual stool stuck to the intestinal walls, which can cause inflammation or carcinogenic conditions. It also reduces internal intestinal inflammation and eliminates harmful bacteria and fungi, allowing beneficial bacteria to flourish.

There are several methods of colon cleansing: self-administered enemas at home, open-system colon irrigation machines, and closed-system colon irrigation machines. The effectiveness varies among these methods. Self-administered enemas provide the least thorough cleansing because the water flow relies on gravity and pressure cannot be controlled. Open-system colon irrigation machines improve effectiveness by actively pushing water into the intestines, reaching deeper than self-administered methods. However, even open systems cannot generate sufficient pressure to cleanse the deepest parts of the colon or remove toxins and waste that have adhered to the intestinal walls over a long time, often cleansing only the lower colon.

Closed-system colon cleansing is considered the best method. It involves flushing the colon with purified, sterilized water. The machine controls water pressure, temperature, and volume, ensuring safety and effectiveness in cleansing the deepest parts of the colon. During the procedure, water slowly flows into the colon while waste is expelled through a closed tube, eliminating the need for straining and avoiding mess or unpleasant odors. Throughout the 45-minute session, a medical assistant provides continuous care, including abdominal massage, under the supervision of an experienced physician.
