Medtopia Holistic Dentistry Clinic offers metal-free dental restorations to prevent potential health risks associated with the use of dental metals. These restorations provide aesthetics and strength similar to natural teeth.

Composite Filling

Composite resin fillings are tooth-colored materials chosen for areas requiring good aesthetics. They have moderate strength but are not suitable for large fillings as they may chip or break easily. Over time, they can stain from tea, coffee, or tobacco.

Ceramic Filling (Ceramic Inlay/Onlay)

Inlays and onlays are restorations fabricated outside the mouth after tooth preparation, then bonded to the tooth with dental adhesive. Medtopia uses CAD/CAM technology to design and mill ceramic restorations, allowing the entire procedure to be completed in a single visit, unlike traditional methods requiring 2-3 visits.

Ceramic inlays/onlays are stronger and more durable than composite resin fillings.
